ULO End User Licence Agreement

1. Who we are

ULO is provided by Axel Leknes, Oslo, Norway. Contact: leknesaxel@gmail.com. See also the support page and the privacy policy.

2. Agreement

By installing or running ULO you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not install ULO or uninstall it.

3. What you get

• Free use. ULO's free widgets and features are licensed to you free of charge, for personal, non-commercial use on your own PC.
• Paid plans. Some features need a paid plan: Standard (Sectors, the standings' Sectors column, the qualifying pole comparison, wind arrow mode and the G-force meter), Team (team fuel sharing, box calls, the sister car and the fuel planner), or both. The current prices are shown at the point of purchase.
• Per driver. A Team plan is needed by every driver who uses a team feature, whether driving or only watching.
• Trial. A free trial of Standard and Team lasts 14 days. It needs a payment method on file, which is charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.

4. Licence key and subscriptions

• A paid plan is activated with a licence key. Keep the key to yourself.
• A key works on one PC at a time. You may move it to another PC twice in any 30 days. Moving it again is refused until the 30 days pass or support helps. A reinstall of Windows counts as a move.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments are taken and invoices are issued by our merchant of record, Creem, which handles VAT and sales tax. Its terms also apply to the purchase.
• Access ends when a subscription is cancelled, expires or is paused. Your settings stay on your PC and return with a paid plan.

5. Your use of ULO

You may not:

• share, sell, rent or lend a licence key, or let anyone else use a key on a second PC;
• use ULO in a way that breaks the terms of iRacing or any other service you use;
• remove or change licence checks, or make ULO accept a key or plan it was not issued;
• use ULO to harm other people, their accounts or the team network, or to read team messages that were not sent to you;
• resell or redistribute ULO, or offer it as part of another service, without written permission.

Team sharing sends your driving data to the other drivers in your team. You are responsible for only using it with people you have agreed to share with.

6. Reverse engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble ULO, except where the law allows this despite a contract term, and only to the extent it allows.

7. Third parties and iRacing

• ULO reads iRacing's live telemetry from shared memory. It does not change iRacing or inject into it. You are responsible for following iRacing's terms of use and its SDK terms.
• ULO is not made, endorsed or sponsored by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations. "iRacing" and any car manufacturer or series names and logos are trademarks of their owners and appear for identification only.
• ULO uses open-source software listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Each component is licensed under its own terms, which stay in force for that component.

8. Updates

ULO checks for and installs updates. We may change or remove features; we will not remove a feature you have paid for during the period you paid for it without a refund or a credit where the law requires one.

9. Availability

Team sharing depends on our broker and licence server. We aim to keep them running but do not guarantee them. When the licence server cannot be reached, a saved licence keeps paid features working for up to 7 days.

10. Warranty

ULO is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that ULO is free of faults, that it suits a particular purpose, or that it is always correct. Do not rely on ULO for safety decisions on track; the spotter and rejoin helper are aids, not a replacement for your judgement.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to ULO is limited to the amount you paid us for ULO in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost race results, lost profit or indirect loss.

Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

12. Ending this agreement

You may stop using ULO and uninstall it at any time. We may end your licence if you break this agreement; for a material breach we will say why and give you a chance to fix it where we reasonably can.

13. Law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the law of Norway, and disputes go to the courts of Norway. Consumers may also use the courts of the country where they live.

14. Changes

We may update this agreement. A new version is shown in the app and needs acceptance where the law requires it. Continued use after a change means you accept it, unless the law says otherwise.

15. Whole agreement

This agreement, the privacy policy and the refund policy form the whole agreement between us about ULO. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
